John Kukoly Joins QMI as Development Manager for Food Safety

John Kukoly joined QMI in March this year, where he takes on the responsibility for our Food Safety Management Systems program.

Kukoly comes to QMI from operations at ConAgra in Canada, which included food safety and plant audit management. A key manager in the HACCP programs, as well as other food safety initiatives in manufacturing and the supplier base, allow him to bring depth and experience to his new role.

“I am pleased John has decided to join QMI’s team,” says Randall Boyle, QMI Manager of Food and Health Programs. “John’s enthusiasm and drive, supplemented by his extensive background, will better enable our sales and food certification departments to serve QMI clients.”

For more than 15 years, Kukoly has worked in various roles in the food industry, including quality assurance, operations and sales. With that experience, he brings to QMI an understanding of the challenges facing organizations seeking to implement and register their management systems. “I am pleased to have joined a prestigious, worldwide certification body,” said Kukoly, “and I look forward to working with QMI customers to advance business excellence.”

Kukoly’s experience from organizations such as ConAgra, Ecolab and Kraft is a valuable asset to QMI, and will provide our clients with hands-on expertise to support their ISO 22000 based food safety management system programs.

He can be reached at the QMI Toronto office at (800) 465-3717.
